Do I need a Green Card when travelling to Europe?
No – the policy provides automatic cover for travel in the EU and associated countries without the need for a green card.
How do I go about making a claim?
You can make a claim by logging into My Connect and then clicking “notify claim”. You can also report a claim by calling us on 0800 434 6481
Can I protect my No Claims Bonus?
No – protected or guaranteed No Claims Bonus is not available for commercial cars/vehicles.
My company is leasing 2 vehicles – can we insure them?
We can insure a leased or hired vehicle as long as the lease or hire period is 12 months or more.
What cover is available for my trailer?
The policy automatically provides cover for a trailer equivalent to the cover on the insured vehicle whilst attached i.e. if the vehicle has Comprehensive cover and is towing a trailer, the trailer will benefit from Comprehensive cover as well.
Will my policy include cover for the work tools that I carry around in the back of my van?
No – the policy does not provide any cover for the goods or tools carried in a commercial car or vehicle. Separate insurance cover will need to be arranged for this.
Can you match or mirror the no claims bonus from my private car to my new commercial vehicle?
No – No Claims Bonus must be separately earned against your new commercial car/vehicle. The bonus you have earned on your private car may only be used against one vehicle at a time.
