- Select the Tools menu
- Select Internet Options in the Tools drop-down menu
- Select the Security tab on the Internet options window
- Select the Custom Level button in the Security section
- Scroll down the Custom Level list until you get to the Cookies section
- Select the Disable radio button in the Allow cookies that are stored on your computer section under Cookies
- Select the Disable radio button in the Allow per session cookies (not stored) section under Cookies
- Press OK on the Custom Level window
- Press OK on the Internet Options window
Internet explorer 6 and 7
- Select the Tools menu
- Select Internet Options in the Tools drop-down menu
- Select the Privacy tab on the Internet Options window
- Click the Advanced button
- Check the Override automatic cookie handling tick box
- Select the Block radio button in the First Party Cookies section
- Select the Block radio button in the Third Party Cookies section
- Press OK on the Advanced window
- Press OK on the Internet Options window
