Can you get car insurance cover?
There are a few factors that might prevent you from getting insured for car insurance cover. Take a look at this list. If none of it applies to you, you should be good for a quote:
- Unfortunately, we can’t insure you if you’ve ever had insurance refused, cancelled, declared void or had special terms imposed on it
- If you’ve been disqualified from driving, or if you have prosecutions or police enquiries pending, then sorry, it’s a no
- If your car has been modified outside of the UK manufacturer’s specifications, then you’re not eligible. The exceptions to this are security improvements, official manufacturers options, option packs that don’t increase the car’s performance or if your vehicle has been adapted for a disabled person. - If you’ve had little or no driving experience and you intend to drive a high performance vehicle, we’ll have to decline your application
